Monica Drusian
Somatic coach, certified Pilates teacher and breathing facilitator, currently training in holistic breathwork and nervous system regulation.
My personal journey helped me recognise how deeply trauma had shaped my life and find my way back to myself: to my body, to the value of my emotions, and to choosing to put myself first. This is where Neuro Wellness Coaching began. Today, I support people in reconnecting with themselves, in Italian and English.

My approach is trauma-informed. Even after a traumatic event has ended, the body may not receive the message that it is over.
And we can remain trapped.
From the storm to the breath

For years, everything seemed to work from the outside. I worked, smiled and took care of others before myself. Inside, I lived on high alert, unable to truly see myself.
I was running away from myself without realising it. I developed several autoimmune conditions that deeply affected my life and my relationship with my body, without any doctor being able to trace them to a single cause.
A relationship in which I had come to doubt my feelings and who I was became the turning point. Leaving it helped me recognise something deeper: the effects of trauma had run through much of my life.
Understanding was the first step. But understanding alone did not make me feel safe. I needed to return to my body.
The shift came through my body. Through breathing, which I learned to slow down. Through movement, which helped me feel my feet on the ground again. Through presence, one minute at a time.
Returning to my body. Being on my own side again.
Breath, movement and presence helped me find myself again. I learned that my anger is valid, and that my feelings matter and deserve to be acknowledged.
Today, I can love myself and consistently put myself first. For me, finding a way through means this: returning to my body and being on my own side.
The meaning behind the logo

The ginkgo represents resilience and the possibility of renewal.
The rising sun evokes a new beginning.
The branches of a neuron evoke the connection between body and mind, and openness to new possibilities.
Together, they express the vision of Neuro Wellness Coaching: reconnecting with yourself and making room for change while honouring your story.
I returned to my body. I recognised the value of my anger and my feelings. Today, I know how to love myself and put myself first.
From personal experience to professional training
When I recognised how important breath and movement had been for me, I wanted to explore further, study and train.
My personal experience gave me the motivation to begin.
Training helps me develop a way of working that respects each person's differences, choices and pace.
I do not offer my story as a path you should follow. I bring what I have learned to my work, knowing that every journey is different.
Alongside this work, I have spent twenty years in marketing, in performance-focused roles and consulting. I have lived in four countries and understand the demands of an intense professional life. This experience also shapes how I meet people: practically, attentively and with respect for the complexity of their lives.

EVERY DAY
My own practice
Mindfulness, movement and sport are part of my daily life. They give me space to listen to myself again and recognise how I am feeling.
This experience informs practical tools you can bring into your own days: small moments to listen to yourself, recognise your needs and reconnect with your body, at your own pace.
Your body as a doorway back to yourself
You do not need to tell your whole story again to begin. We start with your body, at your pace, using simple tools you can use every day. My approach is trauma-informed: every practice is gradual, always your choice, and you can always stop.
Breathing and release
Breathing can help communicate safety to the nervous system and support the release of held tension.
Movement and body control
Movement can help release accumulated tension and anger, rebuild strength and boundaries, and bring your feet back to the ground.
Mindfulness and meditation
Presence reconnects mind and body: you learn to notice what you feel with less judgement and a greater sense of steadiness.
Perhaps some of this feels familiar
- You feel tense even when everything is going well.
- Your mind feels foggy and you struggle to concentrate.
- You feel anger and do not know where to put it.
- You feel as though you are watching your life from outside, disconnected from your body.
- One day you feel fine, the next you fall apart and hardly recognise yourself.
- There is nothing wrong with you. And you do not have to do this alone.
Let's begin with you
